Arsenal have identified Lille striker, Victor Osimhen, as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Daily Express reports.
Aubameyang looks set to leave the Emirates after this season when he would have one year left on his contract.
The Gabon striker has so far failed to agree with new terms with the Gunners.
Arsenal officials are keen to avoid repeating last season when Aaron Ramsey left the Emirates to join Juventus as a free agent.
So there is the option of offloading Aubameyang, to ensure they get a fee for the player.
Then they’ll turn their focus to Osimhen who begins this season with 13 goals scored in 25 Ligue 1.
