“Wilfred Ndidi, was offered an amount worth £45m”
Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, is on the radar of Ligue 1 champions, Paris St.Germain, according to ESPN.
The Foxes’ midfielder had a great season for the reigning Premier League champions with some eye-catching displays.
His success and levels of work have made him into a favorite of supporters at the King Power Stadium while also igniting the attention of competitors from the EPL, Arsenal and Manchester United.
The new interest from PSG in the Nigerian midfielder will fuel further speculation on his future at Leicester.
According to ESPN, the Nigeria international is top of the Saints’ transfer wish list while Ghana’s Thomas Partey remains a backup option.
It is estimated that the Qatari-owned club is willing to pay about £45-50 million for the 23-year-old who has been signed to Leicester by 2024.
Just last year, the French champions signed Senegal’s international Idrissa Gueye but are keen on a more dominant force in the midfield defensive role and Ndidi is seen as the right man for the job.
Ndidi arrived in Leicester from KRC Genk in January 2017 and in the last couple of years has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the English Premier League.
He has scored eight goals in 130 appearances for Leicester, including two goals in 29 games in the current campaign.
