The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has released their squad list for this weekend’s fixture with Reims. Kylian Mbappe, in the spotlight as a result of his possible signing for Real Madrid, and Leo Messi, whose debut has been talked out for more than two weeks, are included.
Kylian Mbappe and Leo Messi have been selected for the Ligue 1 matchday four clash against Reims. Both have been in the headlines pre-game.
The squad list is the following: Keylor Navas, Achraf, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Verratti, Mbappé, Paredes, Neymar, Di María, Danilo, Wijnaldum, Ander Herrera, Diallo, Draxler, Kehrer, Gueye, Kalimuendo, Messi, Bitumazala, Dina Ebimbe, Franchi and Donnarumma. A major absentee is that of Sergio Ramos.
Neymar, Achraf, Wijnaldum, Donnarumma… Even without Messi and Mbappe, Pochettino had a star-studded squad and Messi and Mbappe could start. Another possibility is that they will be on the bench and then they can come on a sub to try and change the game. This is more likely for the Argentine so that he gradually becomes match fit.
There was plenty of excitement on social media to celebrate Messi’s arrival after PSG announced the news on their official Twitter account. All eyes are on Messi to form a lethal front three with his good friend Neymar and the highly talented Mbappe.
