Will Orientation Camp Reopen in next two weeks? This appears to be the most frequently asked question by Corps members this week.

However, the Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has said the orientation camp would reopen as soon as the federal government gives them a nod to resume.

In a live programme held yesterday at ‘Armed Forces Radio 107.7 FM Abuja’, the Director General stated that 2020 batch ‘A‘ Stream 1 would return to camp immediately the Federal Government give the scheme a green light to resume activities.

Meanwhile, on Sunday (9th August), ‘The Nation Newspaper’ reported that NYSC is preparing to reopen Katsina Orientation camp in next two weeks quoting a source from NYSC Directorate.

Also, the Vanguard Newspaper on Monday (10th August) reported that another source from NYSC Abuja headquarters disclosed that the management of NYSC is on a move to reopen orientation camp this month.
