The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has finally reveals amount NIN applicants must pay for correction of dates of birth.
-This new NIN directive for the applicants was issued Funmi Opesanwo, the NIMC regional coordinator.
He said that N15,000 is the fee for correction of NIN dates of birth. He also said that N5,000 would be paid for the card renewal.
Punch “said the NIMC’s regional coordinator, Funmi Opesanwo, stated this on Wednesday, January 6, at the commission’s office in the Alausa area of Lagos state.
Opesanwo said that NIN enrolment is free, there are fees attached to card renewal, correction of date of birth and change of address.
According to him, there are different services that the commission offers.
The NIMC official noted that the fees are payable to the Treasury Single Account (TSA) of the federal government, adding that for correction of date of birth, it is N15,000 and it is payable to the TSA.
