Today, NCDC reports 220 new confirmed cases and 85 deaths in 34 States in Nigeria.

As at 11:56pm on Saturday, the Nigeria Centre of Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed that new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) are now 238 in Nigeria.  This was confirmed at the NCDC official website on Friday night.

On the 1st of May 2020, 220 new confirmed cases and ten deaths were recorded in Nigeria. No new state has reported a case in the last 24 hours.

“Till date, 2388 cases have been confirmed, 385 cases have been discharged and 85 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory

2388 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria
Discharged: 385
Deaths: 85

NCDC also reported that Two cases previously reported in Katsina were repeat tests. Therefore, as at 11:55pm May 2 2020, Katsina State has a total of 38 confirmed cases.
