
As at 11:56 on Wednesday 29 April 2020, the Nigeria Centre of Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed that new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) are now 196 in Nigeria. This was confirmed at the NCDC official website on Wednesday night.
NCDC confirms 195 new cases on Tuesday [SEE STATES]
“On the 29th of April 2020, 196 new confirmed cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“One new state (Yobe) has reported a case in the last 24 hours.
“Till date, 1728 cases have been confirmed, 307 cases have been discharged and 51 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory
IMF also releases a support of $3.4bn to Nigeria to help fight coronavirus
“The 196 new cases are reported from twelve states
