
The Lagos State government has discharged sixty more COVID-19 patients to reunite with their families.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who announced this on Twitter, said today April 5 that the patients comprising 40 males and 20 females, all Nigerians, were discharged.
“Today we discharged 60 # COVID19 patients from our Yaba, Eti-Osa, and Ibeju-Lekki isolation facilities for reuniting with their families and society; 40 males and 20 females.
The patients, 31 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, and 19 from the Ibeju-Lekki and 10 from the Eti-Osa Isolation Centers were discharged after two consecutive readings had fully recovered and tested negative. With this, the number of confirmed # COVID19 cases that were successfully handled and discharged in Lagos is now 321.
