Following the trending news about 2022 Nigerian Immigration Service Recruitment, the Managements has debunked reports that it is currently recruiting.
He said the purported public notices making round on social media announcing a general recruitment exercise into the Service was fake.
According to the, the report was cooked by some fraudulent persons who are seeking to deceive and exploit unsuspecting members of the public into parting with their hard-earned money for non-existent vacancies.
Idris urged Nigerians to dismiss as fake and ignore the publications as the Service was not recruiting whatsoever.
What did he say?
“The acting Comptroller General, therefore wishes to use this opportunity to enjoin members of the public to avoid falling into the antics of fraudulent job merchants who are out there to deceive them with empty promises of job placement into the Service.”
He explained that the Service uses official and notable social media means, including its website, to announce recruitment exercises if there is any.
Idris assured Nigerians that efforts were ongoing to arrest and prosecute those behind such fraudulent publications.
