NCDC erroneously reported new case in Ekiti State Yesterday

On Sunday Morning, The Nigeria Center for Disease and Control, NCDC, has apologized for confirming a new case of Coronavirus in Ekiti State.

As as yesterday, truetaknews reported that NCDC on Saturday confirmed one (1) case in Ekiti state, making it four (4) cases in the State.

However, The NCDC in a post on its Twitter page on Sunday morning, said the report was an error from its verification process.

In the tweeter feed update: “Yesterday, we erroneously reported one new case in Ekiti. This was wrong and was caused by an error in the verification process.

“Meanwhile, as at April 18 2020, Ekiti state was not among the 541 confirmed cases.
