Corps Members to Undergo compulsory Coronavirus Test

The Federal Government has said that all prospective corps members will Undergo a compulsory CoronaVirus Test as camps reopens in the state.

The Federal Government sent this information through the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 following the approval of the reopening of NYSC orientation camps across the country on 10 November 2020.

The announcement was made on Thursday October 15, during the press briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

According to the National Cooordinator, Sani Aliyu, the NCDC has developed guidelines for the NYSC ahead of the re-opening of the orientation camps.

The statement reads;

”We have developed guidelines with the NCDC (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control) and the NYSC in the preparation for the reopening of the orientation camps on the 10th of November, 2020.

The PTF has also arranged additional safeguards to include the testing of all corpers and staff in the camps for COVID-19 tests prior to commencement of the orientation programmes.”Aliyu said.
