Samuel Chukwueze speaks after undergoing coronavirus test

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has revealed that after a compulsory coronavirus test, the Villarreal players are expected to return to the training.

La Liga had reported earlier this week that Spain’s footballers are going back to work.

The former FIFA U-17 World Cup winner from the age of 21 had been training at home under his club’s strict regime.

“Our club will most likely resume training on Thursday because we’ve done all of our medical testings and we’re supposed to obey all of the rules against COVID-19, including the use mouth guards during the training,” he told NationSport.

Eagles winger, Chukwueze went on to explain that his side would fight their way to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season.

He said he’s really looking forward to scoring more goals as the Spanish top-flight resumes helping his team meet their targets.

“We are on the right track before the Laliga was suspended and when we restart we will start where we left,” the 21-year-old said.

The bronze medalist Chukwueze won the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) with the Egyptian Super Eagles.
