Akwa Ibom State school resumption

Akwa Ibom State school resumption date for first term has been postponed and has also been Fixed for full reopening of schools in the state. 

This was made known by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Enobong U. Mbobo.

The news reads;

“We wish to inform Parents, Guardians, Education Stakeholders and indeed the general public that resumption of schools for First Term 2020/2021 school year has been postponed”

The new date for resumption is 23 November, 2020. This is to enable all examinations to be written and scores recorded as Endsars protest had disrupted academic activities and the school calendar.

By this notice, Parents are advised to use the period to prepare their wards for resumption or a new school year by buying books, uniforms, lockers and general stationeries that will help them succeed.

The new list of books for Secondary School level has been approved by the Ministry and is available for collection at Room 389, Ministry of Education.
