Aisha Buhari sends Nigerians new message

The wife of the Nigeria President, Aisha Buhari, has told Nigerians she’s been concerned about coronavirus spreading in Nigeria.

She begged Nigerians to take social distance more seriously, as the 1,000 mark has now passed.

That was included in a statement by her media special assistant, Aliyu Abdullahi, on Saturday.

It noted that Aisha has swung into action to support the fight by activating her ‘Get Involved Initiative.’

The wife of the president has sent articles to Bauchi, Gombe States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“To those who donated she expressed appreciation, saying the nation will benefit from their donations.

“To defeat the Covid-19 pandemic, Mrs. Buhari called on the Nigerians to stay safe and practice social distancing. She called on the beneficiary states to make good use of the items, “the statement disclosed.

During the distribution ceremony in Abuja, Aisha was represented by her Senior Special Assistant for Administration and Women Affairs, Dr Hajo Sani.

The distributed items include cartons of assorted hand sanitizers, pharmaceutical drugs, personal protective equipment including disposable gowns and overalls.

Others were surgical masks, gloves, protective goggles, regular and ICU beds with bedding and automatic dispensers, disposable and N95.
