16 tests positive for COVID-19

The Kaduna State Government has confirmed 16 new coronavirus cases in the state.

Governor Nasir El-rufai said this on Thursday in a tweet that all patients were Kano almajiris.

“It was reported also that Kano returned Almajiri children to their villages over coronavirus death fears.

“It was also reported that Over 150 people die ‘Mysteriously’ Within Three Days In Kano, Coronavirus causes fear.

“KDSG has confirmed 16 new cases of COVID-19 in the state,” he wrote.

“The new  cases, all almajiris from Kano, have raised the number of active COVID-19 cases in Kaduna State from 9 to 25.”

Confirmed cases now stood at 1728 in Nigeria, this was confirmed on wednesday night at NCDC official website.
